We went to Liam's Open House this week to see his new classroom. He was very excited to show off his school to us even though we go there 3 days a week for the past 6 months :)
He does a lot of sensorial work, modules, and practical play in Montessori. I don't really know exactly what this means, but Liam seems to really enjoy it! Here is a corner of his new room...
Since it has been SO hot lately, they have recess in the gym where he plays basketball and soccer. When it's nice outside they have a great covered playground and lots of gardens that the kids planted in the spring.
This last week we said bon voyage to Uncle Alex. He moved to DC to go to Georgetown, for his LLM (some super special tax lawyer certification thingy). We will miss him a lot, as he was a good playmate to Liam and Bryn!
Even though Alex already moved, Tippy is still in town working. She's been hanging out with us a lot since Alex left. I snapped this pic of them after she took Liam upstairs to read him his bedtime story...or what I guess turned into him reading her a bedtime story :)
