We drove home Christmas night because Nick and I both had to work the next day. In our 36 hours home, we went to work, washed everything, and repacked....well that's what the adults did. The kids just spent most of that time in jammies playing with toys from Santa :)
They also spent a lot of time chasing my new Christmas present around the house. I got a roomba ("it's a real robot mom!") that the kids named Major :) I don't know who was more excited, me or them...
Nora however is not so amused, but to be fair she's the only one at Major's level so I can see how he appears more threatening...
We flew out to KY on Friday. It was an easy flight because Nora slept, Liam played games, and Bryn spiked a fever, therefore sleeping the whole way across Nick's lap as well. She had the same cold as Nora only a little worse. After a couple days in bed watching movies, fever broke and she was ready to play again...
Unfortunately Bryn did miss Amelia's baby shower, but Nora and I went. Rachel, Tippy, and Julia hosted a precious shower!

The next morning we had Christmas in KY and the kids woke up to more stockings and presents...

It was great to see so much of my family in KY and we all had a wonderful time! Our flight was delayed so we got home pretty late that night only to go straight to work the next day. The kids were great on the flight home and were of course planning our next trip :)
We had a low-key NYE this year. I worked and Nick stayed home with the kids. We made dinner and had a movie night with the light of the Christmas tree. The only one who made it to midnight with us...well she woke up at 11pm and fell asleep at 11: 55pm :)
