January 10, 2012: Bryn walkin' and talkin'

14 months old and Bryn is walking!  Finally got a video up of Bryn taking a few steps.  She started taking steps just a few days ago and it seems like she went from not walking to walking-while-eating-and-talking-all-at-once!  We joke that she is like a little old woman in her baby body...no teeth, gums her food, unstable walker, and she won't stop jabbering :)  She is such a parrot like her brother was, repeating everything she hears.  

Here is Bryn on a rainy day earlier this week.  So cute in her rain jacket, enjoying some puddles outside..

Cannot think of a food that she won't eat.  I've thrown it all at her including all types of fish, asparagus, cabbage, beef stew, egg in a hole (aka girl scout egg in our house), cauliflower, pork chops, manicotti, couscous, grilled cheese dunked in tomato basil soup, kiwi..and those have just been in the last week.  Bryn has pretty much insisted on feeding herself with her own spoon as well...as long as she's wearing a bib, I'm all for independence!  And yes, she actually did get most of the yogurt in her mouth too...

Bryn was so excited that we moved her from her high chair to a booster at the table.  She loves joining hands to pray before eating and we all burst out laughing the first time we heard an "amen!" echoing us :)
