April 2014: Springtime Fun!

This was a great month, not only with the birth of Fox, but also because we got to visit with lots of our family.  The Smiths were in town for 10 days and the kids had a BALL together.  We got to celebrate Presley's (early) birthday and I had so much fun helping her plan her party.  Here they are all dressed up for the Frozen party...
Making candy/marshmallow Olaf's...
Cake and presents...

Decorating for Easter.  Bryn drew eggs and Liam make "egg glasses"...
First Rough Rider game of the season...
Playgroup visiting the Easter bunny and playing on the carousel...

Easter egg hunt and crafts with playgroup and Smiths...

Alex and Tippy were also in town over Easter weekend and Tippy created a true egg hunt with clues...the kids LOVED it!
Soccer with Uncle Alex...
Easter morning outside of church...

We hosted Easter brunch at our house.  Daniel feeding his goddaughter...

It's so fun to have Fox be part of our holidays!

Bryn doing alphabet flashcards to Fox..

Ice Cream treat with the fam at Double Dip...

Family and bluebonnet pictures.  Let me preface by saying it was waaaay too sunny out!

Besties already :)
The big kids (Liam, Pres, Bryn and David) went to the Rough Riders game one night...

While the babies stayed home and their mommies enjoyed carry-out from Fireside Pies (and a quiet house!)
 Lunch at 5th Street...
Playtime at the park...

This was a bunch of bars that the kids could slide along essentially.  Liam yelled "we're like the luggage at the airport!" and a bunch of moms who heard him laughed.  He's right, it was like the baggage carousel :)
Presley came to watch Bryn's dance class and was her biggest fan!
An afternoon playtime for the Liam, Pres, and Bryn at Kidmania. They were so worried about lying to David (during his nap) about where they went, they all agreed to not talk about it so he wouldn't know and be sad ;)
Rachel met me at Amelia's after I worked one day, bringing both our babies. We are getting pretty good at handling our "twins" together, although Rach probably does it more effortlessly ;)
Celebrating Fox with some carry-out sushi and tuna towers, yum!
Sisters and babies!
Fun weekend, including the kids' first time fishing, with Grandpa and Grandma!
Lots of outdoor time!  Scootering...
Tennis...
Arboretum children's garden with Jackson and Brenna...
Grilling and eating outside...
When daddy worked late, the kids and I had a dinner date at Cracker Barrel.  And yes they decided to drink their shared chocolate milk with water, blegh...

And finally registering this big kid at kindergarten round-up!!
