We love this tradition!! Today we went to our friend Michael's house where Santa was coming to see our playgroup friends. The kids were so excited and looking forward to this. They greeted Santa and showed him to his chair and listed to his Christmas story...
Bryn was a little shy at first, but warmed up after watching her friends visit with Santa. He told her he thought she wanted a scooter but couldn't decide if she wanted pink or purple. She excitedly confirmed it was purple that she wanted :)
Liam had a lot to talk about with Santa this year. When asked if he wanted a lot of toys, Liam replied "No just a few so that there is enough for all the kids". He is so sweet and compassionate already :)
Santa was also a little caught off guard when Liam asked what is his favorite country to deliver presents to is. Santa answered Australia because he loves kangaroos. Liam replied that his favorite country was the Republic of the Congo (?!?) Santa asked if he had ever been there and Liam replied "Uh no...because it's in Africa". Santa told all the kids that he loves when they leave him all types of cookies and Liam nicely offered that maybe he should try making healthy choices :) Luckily, I think Santa was overall amused by him and Liam left on a good note after giving him his list.
Even Nora enjoyed meeting Santa for the 1st time...no tears here!
Overall it was a great visit with Santa for all the kids!
A wonderful seasonal family pic...
but this is the one I like best since it's more realistic of our life :)
