January 22, 2011: My BIG birthday!

My birthday weekend started off with dinner at Mal/Dal's and Sprinkles cupcakes, compliments of Linds! I haven"t had them since LA, so it was a big treat...

We (all the sibs-Cam, Rach, Alex, Tippy, Meha, Daniel and Linds!) drove down to Austin for the rest of the weekend, leaving my parents with the three kids...I think the kids had as much fun as we did :)

In Austin, we went to lunch at Hopdoddy's (yummy burgers and drinks) with our friend Kate, then the girls went to get mani/pedis while the boys went to a bar. We all meet back up at our hotel (the Omni) and went to their happy hour there...We had some more drinks in our room...Then went to dinner at one of my favorite sushi places, Imperia!After dinner we went out on 6th street starting with Pete's piano bar...Cameron got them to play the Auburn fight song...3 times in a row! Which of course made his night...The boys made a new friend...who then tried to blitz attack the birthday girl...who she mistakenly thought was Rachy...thanks Rachy for taking one for the team :) More wandering around 6th and dancing at random bars...Thanks everyone for making my (30th!!) birthday so much fun!!

And because it just wouldn't be the same without the kids...here's just a few more pics of what Liam and Bryn have been doing this last week of January. Nick and Liam were invited to the NFL experience by our friend from LA, Noah, who was working it. Looks like the boys had an awesome time!Liam started gymnastics this month!! Following in one of his parent's footsteps :) He is doing it with Pres and his friends James, and I think he really liked it...Thank goodness Mal came with us...she was able to watch Bryn and Sophie (the little sisters)Liam asked me one night to take a picture of him and his dinosaurs, which he had lined up just for the shot :)Bryn as been up to the usual...hanging in the jungle, trying not to get smushed by her brother, falling asleep upright, and just being too darn cute!
