She loves: eating (finally!), loves blowing raspberries, rolling around (finally!), music, dancing with her daddy, throwing diaper bombs with mommy, playing with her toys on the rug, angry jumping in her horsey bouncer, scooting around (no crawling yet), and strolling around the neighborhood.
Nora does 'so big', claps for herself, does a little hand wave, blows kisses (well she puts her hand to her mouth), says mama and dada, and plays peek-a-boo by putting her head down then popping back up. She's still got the beautiful blue eyes and straight brown hair and still favors my baby pictures. Although Bryn still calls her Peepers or Snora, Liam has nicknamed her bootstang...don't ask, I don't know where this gibberish came from but she lights up when he sings it to her over and over ;) She still eats her socks off her feet and that is one reason I welcome warm weather as I'm tired of wet socks!
She's a peanut now at only 17 lbs 5 oz (22%), 27 1/4 inches (38%), and head circumference 17 1/4 inches (44%), although she's still got some good rolls. She's still a slooooow eater, but is loving everything we put in front of her including meatballs, homemade pizza, twice baked potatoes, puffs, pancakes, shredded cheese, chick fil a french fries (3rd child!), hard boiled egg yolks, turkey, and yogurt just to name a few! Of course she still eats her baby food of fruits and veggies, although because we found out she's anemic we are really pushing the meat and iron rich food (and giving her iron supplements-blegh!)
So Nora has no interest in crawling...but she does really want to walk. She is trying to pull up to stand on everything and does a little Frankenstein walk while holding on to our hands. She might be our first to go straight to walking!
She is getting a little more feisty and has learned the art of the tantrum...especially when you take away her phone.
Nora, you are the most fun baby! We love seeing the world through your eyes and we all enjoy getting to share new experiences with you (like 'driving' mommy's new car). Love my littlest girl!
