We spent a week in Colorado in July with the Smiths. It was awesome and will be a whole separate blog post. So what else have we been up to this month?
Finishing up gymnastics...(Liam has chosen to do soccer this Fall instead)
Finishing up ballet...well just the Summer session because Bryn loved it so much she is going to continue her class this Fall...and it will be ballet AND tap. She's super pumped!
Bryn had a "recital" on her last day of class...
Bryn had her own fan group and even got flowers from Meha!
After her recital, Bryn got to choose our special lunch out...and she picked Fuzzy Taco...def her daddy's girl :) (photo compliments of Liam)
We did a couple of movies with all 3 kids including Epic, Dolphin Tale, Despicable Me 2, and Monsters University. Nora is a champ at the theater...
Played a lot of games...it's even more fun now that Bryn plays most games as her own player...
We did a little swimming this summer...
We did a lot of bowling since we signed up the kids up for a program where they could bowl for free. Please note the scores from our first game one day...
Yes, Bryn used a ramp and bumper guards but still, have you ever seen a 2 year old bowl a 138?!
Speaking of impressive, I have to also brag about Liam. We signed him up for the library's summer reading challenge. I let him pick the number of books he thought he could read over the summer and he met his goal. Liam read 100 books!! We were so proud and he was so excited when he got his certificate and book worm to put on the wall. He also got free meals at a few restaurants and a book that he got to choose to take home. He already told me that next year he plans to read 200 books :)
