and it was Nora's first flight (pic by Liam)! It was also Nora's first state to visit Liam pointed out...it was his 10th :)
The kids did great on the quick plane rides...
Once we landed it was a little more tricky to get through the HUGE Denver airport with 5 people, 4 bags, 3 car seats, and a stroller but we managed!
We made it!
We were all sooo happy to be reunited!
Since there was 10 of us, we couldn't fit in one car. So Rachel and I took the babies and big kids in the minivan, while Cam and Nick took the middle kids in the truck. We looked like a traveling circus :)
We got out for an activity every day. The first day we walked around Garden of the Gods which are huge rock formations...
We spent a morning in a cute town in the mountains called Manitou Springs. We had breakfast at the Pantry and visited the ducks at the nearby pond. The kids did awesome eating out the whole week!
We walked around town and then went to the Penny Arcade for games and rides...
We went bowling...
We went to the Colorado Springs zoo which was awesome! It is such a cool zoo because it's built in the mountains and has so many exhibits where to can really get close to the animals.
Feeding giraffes...
Petting a baby wallaby...
and a snake...
The kids had never seen a moose...
or hippo...
And they loved the monkeys...
It's so animal friendly that we even walked past a peacock, just wandering around...
We walked to the park down the street to play one morning...
and did sprinkler and water table in the back yard...
Nick and Cameron took the big kids to a Rockies game on day. They had a blast!
We did have some down time, just relaxing...
The kids played so well the whole week, even just hanging around the house...(aka destroying the house :)
We had so much fun matching the babies everyday....
And we had to do this little photo shoot after Nick realized that Anna was born on Tupac's birthday and Nora was born on Biggie's birthday...so here's our baby 'pac and baby smalls as we call them :)
Even though it was hot and sunny, we tried to get some family pics in too. We went to the woods on the Air Force base and because the kids were such troopers we managed to get a bunch of cute ones!
