(Okay, last post for tonight-only downside with this post is all pics are from our phones, so not the best quality)
We have had a great weekend! Friday night we went to our first Rough Riders game of the season. Liam is really into the game now and follows the pitches, balls, strikes, and outs...and of course tries to catch foul balls!
Saturday we split up boys and girls. Bryn and I had our girl day, which of course we both got dressed up for :)
We got donuts and went to see the dollar kiddie movie (Pound Puppies) in the morning...We played at a new park with a cool fish that she loved climbing through...
Who says you can't rock climb in your fancy shoes? :)
Then we went for the highlight of our day...tea and cookies!! We also shared a chicken salad sandwich and tomato basil soup. I think after one taste Bryn decided she liked her 'pretend' tea better than real tea :)
Bryn got to take a bubble bath that night...
before painting her toes! And yes, her other treat for our girls day was wearing a pair of Liam's old Cars underwear and his old Batman jammies that he outgrew. These are the only two hand-me-downs that she somehow acquired from him, and they are only allowed on special occasions. She also asked to watch Batmunks (a Chipmunk movie about being Batman) for our movie night. So despite kicking the boys out, Liam's influence was still very present on our girls day :)
Meanwhile, Liam and Nick went camping for the first time with Liam's buddy Jackson and his daddy! Liam was excited for many reasons, but one was that they went camping in Turner Falls, OK so that was a new state for Liam to add to his list :)
Hiking along the water...
Exploring caves...
The waterfalls...
A castle in the woods that they explored...
Fun on the camp playground...
Cooking hot dogs and s'mores...
Daddy texted me this picture so that mommy would say "good grief" :)
Liam slept great in the tent!
So glad that my boys got to experience this new adventure together...
Today, Bryn and I had brunch with Linds and JE and checked out their new apt. Then we came home to play with the boys. It was fun getting one-on-one time with the kids, but it was good to be back together. The kids worked on their art...(and yes, Liam is OBSESSED with his sunglasses)
And then Nick grilled out and we enjoyed our meal outdoors in this amazing weather. We even made s'mores on the grill from the camp out leftovers so that Bryn and I could experience it too :)
Baby Trey and I are still doing well. The last ultrasound at 34 wks showed Trey was about 5 lbs already with his/her head "very very low" as the tech said. Trey is engaged and my body is starting to show signs that hopefully the arrival is sooner than 6 weeks from now! And since Trey has dropped, at least I'm able to eat again...yes, this actually makes pregnancy much more enjoyable at the end for me...as my 4 lb weight gain over the last 2 weeks showed..whoops! My co-workers threw me a sweet surprise shower at work one day. I tried to argue that we didn't need anything for a 3rd baby, but since they made it a "diaper/wipes shower", I guess I can't argue with that!
I'm now going weekly for visits, so we'll see if Trey decides to make an appearance soon. Right now everyone has guessed the date they think Trey will arrive. Bryn says May 2nd (her answer if asked for a number is always 2!), Nick says May 15th, and Liam says May 18th. We'll see soon who gets the closest!
