Last weekend the kids and I took Nick to the airport...
He met Uncle Cameron in Vegas with some friends from LA for a boys weekend.
While he was gone, Grandma and Linds came to stay with us. We had good meals, played lots of games, and had a movie night!
Nick to the Monday off work when he got back and was able to go to gymnastics with the kids. He did the "mommy and me" class with Bryn and even showed off by doing a back tuck :)
That night we got dressed in our Louisville hand-me-downs (Max's old shirt and Amelia's old cheerleading outfit) to cheer on our Cardinals with daddy. It was a great win!
The bluebonnets are out and we went to snap some pics one morning with our playgroup friends...
Bryn, Trey (32 weeks) and mommy, photo by Liam :)
Liam and Nick have been training for their race...
Bryn wanted to train with daddy too :)
This morning Liam woke up so excited for his first race through our church! Linds and Nick ran in the 5K today after Liam's fun run.
Bryn and I went to cheer them on...
At the start...Nick was a trooper and ran Liam's race with him nd then his own race afterwards...
Crossing the finish line...
Nick and Linds crossing the finish line...
We went straight from the race to t-ball. Nick was the batting coach today. Liam had 2 great catches and 2 great hits!
Here are some more random pics that make me happy...
This is what happens when Nick goes shopping for tomato soup for our grilled cheese sandwiches. Guess he's already shopping for our growing family :)
Cooking with the kids...
Bryn has been taking not only bear, but also Bo Jackson (the small baseball figurine) with her everywhere lately...
Playing outside with our neighbors. One day after work/school, we saw our neighbors outside and invited them to play with chalk in our drive way....an hour later there was about 10 kids over! Love that Liam and Bryn are starting to make friends on our street as the neighborhood is finally finishing out.
We continue to take advantage of the amazing weather...we had a great afternoon today, playing the backyard and grilling out a favorite meal of sausage and bell peppers. Although we can't wait for baby Trey, it's been a great spring, and I think both Nick and I have really enjoyed this time as our last month as a family of four!
