The kids Easter weekend was more like 5 days of celebration! First they had Easter egg hunts at school...here they are after school showing off their loot (no he's not allowed to be Batman at school!)
Friday morning we had another Easter egg hunt/play date with our play group friends. Nick worked from home so he could go with us as well which was a treat. He was a big hit being the 'bad guy' that the boys tried to get :)
The 'good guys' Jackson, Liam, James, and Michael...
Getting ready for the hunt...
So thankful to Lori for hosting us in her awesome back yard...the kids had a great time!
Group pic...we have definitely multiplied!
Family pic...
Picnic lunch after the hunt...
Daddy and his girl...
who crashed on the way home and went straight up to bed :)
This was a special holiday for the kids, because (as Liam says) the 'whole family was gathered round'. Nana & Pops, Grandma & Grandpa, Mallie & Dallie, Linds & JE, and Meha & Daniel were all in town and over to play and eat with the kids. We played on our park, tried some kite-flying, decorated cookies and eggs, and had many wonderful family meals. The kids received wonderful baskets from family including clothes, puzzles, kites, candy, cars, and toys. We are so lucky to have such a great (big!) family involved in our kids' lives!
We woke up early on Easter morning to go to the early Mass...it's rare that we are waking the kids up...
The Easter bunny did visit!
Liam got a helmet, football, and Flash...
Bryn got Elmo, Cookie Monster and a Slinky...
He left Liam a poem/clue about his large gift that was too big to fit in his basket...
He was so excited to find the big kid bike he had asked for!!
Nick was happy to get chips in his basket since he had given them up for Lent...and I got my doughnuts after giving up sweets!
Dressed and ready for 8am Mass..this must be a record...
Easter brunch at our house...I forgot to get picks of the food but here are the gluten-free desserts including brownies, cookies, and coconut cake...
Liam had some friends over as well...guess they all got tired after stuffing their faces...
I hope I can pull this picture out when they go to prom together in 13 years...Addison is such a cutie!
Me and Linds...
Bryn keeping up with the card games...
Failed attempt at capturing her in her precious Easter dress...
Taking the new bike for a spin...
The dress...but with her pink shoes instead of white...oh well...
Liam was a rockstar, and LOVES riding around the neighborhood...
And of course Bryn wanted to try :)
Finally we got her in her Step 2 and went on our walk/ride...
He looks like such a big kid now...
My Easter blessings...

Great Easter post!! Liam does look like a big kid on his new bike! But I'm still shocked every time I see Brynn because she's becoming a little girl from the first time I met her at Rachel's going away party! Also, very impressive that you got to 8am Mass!
