April 21, 2009: 8 months old!

Hard to believe, but it's true! Although Liam's not quite crawling yet, he is so close. He loves to scoot on his belly and LOVES to be standing. He hasn't quite figured out how to pull up on furniture yet, but loves for us to help him stand and 'pretend' to walk around.

He loves all the food he's tried so far, but we haven't started table foods yet. Still no teeth :( so we are stuck with soft foods for a while. We did recently introduce the sippy cup although he hasn't quite figured out how that works either. In fact he decided he would just prefer to drink out of our glasses. He's such a copy-cat and wants everything we have! Nick was out of town for a wedding this weekend, so Liam and I had lots of bonding time. We spent Saturday afternoon with Jen and otherwise just hung out. After we picked Nick up from the airport Sunday morning, we all went to brunch. As you can tell, Liam was very excited to see his Daddy!

We try to bring some of Liam's food with us when we're out, but he decided to just teeth on his toys instead!

Here's my happy boy...

We had a major heat wave the past 3 days. We don't have AC in our apartment, which we're used to in Santa Monica. However it's been unbearably hot and coupled with the fact that the AC in the Jeep isn't working right now...its 24/7 heat! We have set up the portable ACs in the apt. and are actively shopping the car market for a new car. Here's some pics of our beach baby hanging out in his diaper...I feel like we'll see alot of this come summertime! Obviously Liam's happy in the heat!
