Even though we were busy with the Smiths, we still fit in some more fun with our Barkerbots this month. Alex and Tippy came in town for a long weekend, and while here took Liam to Medieval Times. He LOVED it, especially since his green knight won!
While we had the WHOLE family in town, we were able to take some family pictures with out friend and photographer, Ashley. Little did we know that this field we took pictures in was FULL of chiggers...so yes, although the pictures turned out great, all we keep talking about is the weeks of itchiness!
Daddy took the kids for a day of entertaining them...
Nick and the kids went to Frank's 1st birthday while I was bridesmaid dress shopping with Linds...
Liam was begging to do a lemonade stand so Nick and Bryn helped him set one up outside our neighborhood pool.
We had lots of buyers we know :)
but also some nice neighbors we met...
The kids worked hard at hustling in some business...
Nora kept a close eye on the cash register :)
Liam continued his swim stroke lessons from the Spring and Bryn started back at swim lessons this month. After 2 weeks she was swimming independently underwater for short distances!
Nora found (and fell in love with) the unused baby dolls in our house. She and Grandma (Abuela to Nora) love to play with baby Nora, Suzie, Sammy, Lola, and Keisha.
Liam and I enjoy the girls nap time because after helping me unload the dishwasher, we play games. I taught him to play spades and he continues to school me in chess :)
I also have been teaching Liam to cook. He loves making omelets and he's a master with the toaster...
We did a lot of DIY projects around the house requiring us to run to Home Depot on the one day of rain...
and we painted the WHOLE house, including Nick and the kids' favorite, the media room...
On my work days, the kids split time between Grandma and Mallie. They had a special day at Grandma's house when Ryann was in town and loved having another playmate...
Our friends from LA, Annie and Kevin, were back in town visiting their family which made for a perfect excuse for a Cali reunion.

Waiting in line to get our tickets for Bryn's dance show. She loves to perform for anyone and everyone, and thankfully doesn't have Nick or my dance moves :)
Nick and I also got in a fun night out at the Rustic for Drew's birthday...
