June 16, 2013: Father's Day

We celebrated Father's day with Dallie a few days early before he and Mal went to Colorado to await baby Lala.  Amelia and Daniel had us all over for a great dinner...

And speaking of baby Lala, Anna Elizabeth was born ON Father's day this year!  She's just perfect and we are so excited to meet our newest cousin/niece next month.

We had a great Father's day weekend celebrating Nick.  We went as a family to see Epic, got him a new baseball cap and some shirts, had some fun meals out and playtime in the back yard.  Hopefully Nick knows how special he is every day and how much we appreciate all that he does!!  He is doing awesome at work, about to move as the project manager to a huge new job at the airport and we are so proud of him.  In addition to his crazy long work days he still makes time for all this...

In addition to scooping her up as soon as he gets home, he has a standing date with Nora at 1am every night...

He shares his love of games and cards with the kids...

And despite the fact that he does not enjoy to read (like at all), he reads 2-3 books to each of the kids every single night before bed...(in addition to their wrestle time, dance parties, singing songs, rocking Bryn, saying prayers, and giving smooches...he really enjoys his bedtime routine with the kids)

Despite very good efforts, he has not mastered the ponytail yet...

and once I had to leave Liam babysitting while Bryn slept upstairs, Nora slept in the swing, and daddy slept on the couch (even daddies need naps occasionally :)

But we still think he's the greatest daddy in the whole world!!
