November 2, 2009: The most productive day ever...

That is what this day shall be known as...Let's start at 6am which is when Liam was fully awake, thank you time change. We had scrambled eggs and steel cut oatmeal for breakfast, were dressed and out the door by 7:30am and at Target when they opened at 8am (coupons in hand). Then a return at Babies R Us at 9am and we were off to storytime at Barnes and Noble at 10am. We got a call from my friend Erin and decided to meet her and her baby Eloise at the beach for a lunch playdate. We ran home from storytime packed our lunch (turkey/cheese sandwhich, raspberries, apple slices, and goldfish) and were at the beach by 11:30am. We had a great time playing in the sand (and water, it was that warm out!). Liam found some kids who shared their soccer ball and he was so cute trying to be part of the game :)
Liam and Eloise are only 4 days apart and are best friends (who don't know it yet!)We left the beach at 1pm because Liam was literally falling asleep in the sand at this point. He slept the few blocks home, while I carried him inside, through a diaper change and in his crib till 3pm. I paid bills, did dishes, and folded laundry (that had been sitting clean in a basket for 2 days!) while he slept. Then we got up, ate some Ritz crackers with cheese, and headed back out at 3:45 to the grocery store. We shopped (with coupons!) for the entire week for less than $100 including extras like diapers and wipes. Then we were back to blog it all by 5pm. For one day...I was supermom :)
