October 22, 2014: Pumpkin patch visits!

We had two visits to the pumpkin patch this year! First Bryn, Nora, and I went with playgroup.

October 21, 2014: 8 years

Nick and I celebrated 8 years of marriage today.  Nothing fancy: school/work for us all, soccer practice for Bryn and her coach daddy, leftovers for dinner.  But still very special, because this is exactly the life I hoped for 8 years ago :)  We also took family photos this month. I'm so glad we got this in before it got too cold and so so thankful for the precious prints!  Too many amazing ones, I had to try and pick my favorites...

I love all of these pictures so much...they capture the kids' personalities so well!  But to be honest I ADORE the picture below and of Nora and me.  It's just so fitting of my life right now, with her attached to my hip.  I love being reminded of how much joy we bring each other, especially in the toddler year which can be very trying and emotional for us both.  I love my bond with each of my kids (and Nick!) and seeing how they evolve and grow as they get older.

October 13, 2014: Keeping busy

This last month was super fun and super busy.  We had great weather for our nightly soccer practice (in addition to weekly team practice and games...they are really getting into Daddy's sport!)

I love that our kids can play around the backyard and neighborhood almost every day of the week.  They do lots of scootering, tag, riding bikes, soccer, and baseball with their friends.

 6 year old check up and flu shots...Liam is 46 3/4 inches (65%) and 45 lbs (35%) and perfectly healthy!  (And yes, that is Bryn in the reflection taking the picture...she's the photographer in a lot of these pics of her siblings lately!)

 We let the kids each pick 2 rides to do.  First they both wanted to do the Shake Shack...aka a fun house :)

Had to post this picture as well since it's def what real life looks like...2 corn dogs plus 3 kids.  At least Nora knew to steal from them both, hence Liam's face and Bryn pulling away :)
