July 2015: Going, going, gone!

July just went too fast!! We continued with some more updates around our house, but one of my favorites was Bryn's room...

We had a low key 4th of July at Mallie/Dallie's pool and eating homemade ice cream. We were home in bed before fireworks!

We spent a lot of afternoons at the splash park...

Liam had tennis lessons...

Bryn had swim lessons, while Liam continued his swim stroke class...

We spent a lot of evenings doing move night in our new media room...

Liam helped me build some shelving for our arts/craft room...

We did story time and played at the library...

We spent an awesome weekend at Kate and Alex's lake house in Possum Kingdom.  It was a mini-LA reunion as the Ference family came as well!

Liam continued to jump like 30 more times, he was fearless!  Feeling like I had to keep up, even I jumped...once.  Once was enough, it was terrifying!

Bryn joined in off the lower dock as well.  Both kids were so adventurous!

I don't like tubing...but was willing to ski!  Thanks to Uncle Tim, I still got up on my first try :)

Great food, fun and friends...so thankful we are all close by and raising kids together!!

The kids all completed their summer reading challenge again at the library.  Liam read 30 chapter books on his own. Right now he loves Baseball Mysteries, Encyclopedia Brown, Goosebumps, A to Z Mysteries, Magic Treehouse, Flat Stanley and nonfictions about geography, space, and animals.  Bryn read 20 books and Nora read 10.  All the kids earned a free kids meal at Chick Fil A so they chose it for dinner one night.  Fast food and the play area, super special treat around here...

Getting ready for back to school, can't believe it's only a few weeks away!
